The Three Parts of the Application Process

Each service is a structured, multi-session process. We work through it together, step by step.

  • Build a smart balanced college list of reach, target, and likely schools

    College List Building

Finding the right college is about more than where your student can get in. It's about finding schools where they'll thrive academically, socially, and financially. Together, we'll build a balanced list of colleges that reflects who your student is, what they want, and what your family can realistically support.

  • Expert guidance for personal statements, supplemental essays, and more.

    Essay Support

The best essays don't sound impressive, they sound authentic. Through guided brainstorming and reflection, I'll help your student uncover meaningful stories and write essays that are thoughtful, specific, and genuinely their own.

  • Navigate timelines, activities, and requirements with a clear plan from start to final submission

    Application Guidance

Once the list and essays are complete, I'll help your student navigate the rest of the application process, including activities, honors, deadlines, and final review, so they can submit with confidence.

My Approach

I work fit-first, not prestige-first.

Before we ever talk about specific colleges or essay topics, students spend time reflecting on who they are, what matters to them, and what they want from their college experience. Through surveys, self-reflection exercises, academic-style assessments, guided brainstorming, and lots of conversation, we uncover the values, interests, environments, and experiences that become the foundation for both the college list and the essays.

I also believe students should understand the process, not simply be told what to do. Along the way, we talk about college fit, admissions realities, financial aid, merit scholarships, and application strategy so families can make informed decisions with confidence.

I don't hand students a list or write essays for them. I guide, challenge, and educate so they can confidently explain why a school belongs on their list, why an essay matters, and ultimately where they want their next adventure to take them.
